Time flies, time flies. Tomorrow Jen and I will have been married for nine years... nine years on 9/9/09. And baby Jasper is almost 9 weeks old. Time flies.
Tonite Jen and looked at some pictures from when Garson was Jasper's current age. (see photo of Garson in the bed. Summer of 2003. We had just bought this house and were starting the renovations. One Crazy Summer. (See photo)
And now here we are. We've done so much, accomplished so much, seen so much in that time. Garson has grown from infant to starting 1st grade this week. hard to believe.
Jen returns from leave back to work in about 3.5 weeks. Jasper-- who is on my lap right now wearing Garson's old fleese jammie-- will probably adapt to Day Care just fine. But that will be very hard for all of us, especially Jen.
Jen and I also reviewed the calendar together. Here comes another crazy season.... family coming to town (in 3-4 batches), regattas, high holidays, social plans, community meetings, dance, gymnastics, etc, etc. Oy. I guess that's our life. Not really a complaint there. We are really, really, really lucky to have so much, so much opportunity, so many options.
And great family to share it with too. My parents in Framingham, Jen's in Conn but never far away, Rebecca in Medford and working @ HBS...
Speaking of around town... the highway photo I took in Boston, on the Southeast Expressway, when you could still drive on top of it (before the Big Dig tunnels were done).... seems like a while ago, eh? That's when Garson was an infant.... time flies.
I know this post is all over the place, but somehow that fits the mood and the message. Life if happening fast, and I'm trying to live it!
